Cabbage and Onion Miso Soup

for two servings

1/2 / MEDIUM WHITE ONION
2-3 leaf / CABBAGE
1 1/2 tbsp / AWASE (BLEND) MISO
2 cup / DASHI BROTH

 

GREEN ONIONS AND SHICHIMI to serve (optional)


  1. Slice onion and cabbage.
  2. Heat up dashi broth in a pot.
  3. Once it comes to a boil, add vegetables. Cook until soft over medium heat.
  4. Turn heat to low. Stir in miso paste using a strainer.
  5. Sprinkle chopped green onions and shichimi pepper on top. Serve hot.
